I remember my professor not liking this... I actually think this may have been one of my most successful paintings of the entire year, despite its obvious flaws like the ellipses of the glass. It just needed a stronger start, I believe. I wonder how I would handle painting still lives after such an extensive year painting. Maybe I can come up with something far better than this ever was potentially.
